Chapin Hall Orphanage Chicago Il

I dedicate this blog to ALL alumni of Chapin Hall Orphanage in Chicago Il.

Chapin Hall was, and still is, a big part of who I am. Growing up in an orphanage isn't something one forgets EVER!

There were A LOT of good times, but there were also some very terrifying times. I'll tell you about both.

Also if you are a former resident or a staff member of Chapin, please join us on our Chapin Hall Orphanage Group page on Facebook.

  4. I have read some of this and was hoping to get in touch with Colleen Jeffries because I believe I knew your sister. I too was hoping to get some of my pics from Chapin Hall when I was there in the early 70's and late 60's. I also know Jimmy Snyder so if you could get in touch with me sometime soon at 573 418 8885. I went to Chapin Hall from 1963 to about 1976. Many thanks for this blog and hope to hear from some alumni of a place we had to call home then.
